Inside, there are a whopping 42 products from 31 brands, nestled in the back of 25 drawers. Some of the big brands you can expect to find include Augustinus Bader, Trinny London, Charlotte Tilbury, Le Labo, La Prairie and more. And did we mention there are 18 full-size products?

As for the priciest picks in this calendar, there’s the cult classic Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream, which retails for £74 for 15ml and is described as a cellular renewal-rich cream, using natural amino acids, high-quality vitamins and peptides called TFC8 (Trigger Factor Complex) to help deeply hydrate the skin. The luxury cream is a firm favourite among A-list celebrities and the calendar is a great opportunity to try it without spending a fortune on a single moisturiser.
There’s also a handbag-sized sample of Xerjoff Erba Pura Eau de Parfum, a deliciously sweet fruit and citrus scent that retails for a whopping £140 for a 50ml bottle or £205 for a 100ml bottle.

Other standout products we’re particularly excited to try include Charlotte Tilbury’s Matte Revolution Lipstick (£30), Trinny London’s Eye2Eye (£18), 111SKIN’s Bio Cellulose Face Mask (£19) and Malin+Goetz Mojito Lip Balm (£14).
There’s also a full-size Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser Blush, which shoppers describe as easy to blend, easy to layer, and perfect for adding a little colour all over.
We also loved that the calendar includes lots of useful items to help add a little luxury to the everyday chaos of Christmas; these include Bamford Geranium Body Lotion, Neom Happiness Scented Candle and Espa Bergamot & Jasmine Bath and Shower Gel.
Better yet, Harvey Nichols has hidden a £250 gift card inside a select number of calendars and, according to the retailer, your chances of finding a voucher at the back of drawer number 25 on Christmas Day are 1 in 100.
