It’s been less than three months since Andy Murray officially retired from tennis, but he’s wasting no time adjusting to his new life.
The tennis legend took up golf and has competed in various tournaments since his introduction to a sport he has always loved, but now he has more time than ever to play.
Of course, Murray retired as one of the greatest tennis players of all time, and his record on the court speaks for itself. He won 46 titles during his career, including two Wimbledon titles and a US Open title, as well as three Olympic medals.
But off the court he is also a Scottish family man and can now spend more time with his wife Kim and their four children. Here’s a look at their exciting new lives.

New life after tennis
Since joining the Olympics at the beginning of August, the Scotsman has been honing his skills on the golf course, aiming to achieve a scratch handicap. She even updated her Twitter profile to reflect the new chapter in her life, changing it from “I play tennis” to “I played tennis. Now I play golf.”

“Whereas here there are people standing five meters away from where I’m driving and I’m thinking I’m useless in this game. Just try to keep the ball in play and don’t make too much of a mess.”
“Obviously I practice a lot more than the average person,” he added. “Obviously I played a little bit when I was younger and if I learn the right lessons and apply the right things, then yeah, I have a chance to do it.”
When asked about his retirement plans earlier this year, Murray said: “I don’t know exactly what the rest of my life will be like, but I’ll still stay in touch with the sport. Initially, I want to be at home with my wife.” My family. “I want to spend more time with my children and my wife, so I won’t be on the road much, I know that.”
“I will be playing a lot of golf,” he added. “I want to be a reset golfer. I have always loved playing golf but I haven’t played for five or six years due to back problems. Marriage and abusive outburst with Kim
Murray has been married to Kim Sears, the daughter of tennis coach Nigel Sears, since 2015 and met at a party at the US Open a decade ago.
They were together for nearly nine years before marrying in the tennis star’s hometown of Dunblane. However, their relationship hit an impasse a few years ago when Kim shockingly split after he ‘gained custody’ of their dog Maggie in 2009.
But despite being separated for six months, they soon got back together and Murray made the big decision, admitting: “I work better in a relationship.
