Best all inclusive hotels in Tenerife

By | July 18, 2024

Tenerife is a laid-back destination at the best of times, but if you want maximum holiday with minimum fuss, then all-inclusive is for you. The island has a number of hotels and resorts where all expenses are pre-paid, meaning your focus is on pampering 24/7 rather than looking after your cat. Choose an adults-only retreat that combines wellness and gastronomy with stylish design, or book a family-friendly getaway where a wealth of facilities meet particularly friendly service.

Beach and ocean view resorts and hotels place you between this island’s picturesque coastline and the impressive volcanic, largely forested interior of Mount Teide, Spain’s highest peak. Whether you’re looking for affordable accommodation or five-star offerings in this picture-postcard setting – including the best for family-friendly facilities, activities, beach access, impressive swimming pools, spas and tennis courts – here’s our guide to the best all-inclusive hotels in Tenerife, in areas such as Costa Adeje, Playa Paraíso and Playa de Las Américas.

How we review

Each hotel on this curated list has been visited by one of our expert reviewers, who are often hosted free of charge. They stay at least one night, sample at least one meal, and try out other experiences the hotel has to offer.

Gran Meliá Palace de Isora

This attractive property overlooks a wide promenade on Tenerife’s tranquil west coast. Painted in neutral colours and made up of a veritable village of five-storey buildings and towers, it exudes an air of Moorish mystery and exotic lines, with a touch of Andalusian elegance. The showpiece is a huge saltwater infinity pool that stretches almost 400 metres across the resort’s facade. There’s a full-service spa, gym and sports centre. Relaxation is the main focus, but for those with the energy, there’s a full range of daily activities for adults, while a dedicated kids’ club is available for the kids. Upgrade for Level Red benefits such as great views and butler service, plus a private lounge, restaurant and pool.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the benefits of an all-inclusive holiday in Tenerife?

An all-inclusive holiday means you pay for your room, food and drinks in advance before you leave (alcohol is usually included, but some premium brands may cost extra). This means you don’t have to worry about bills piling up throughout your trip – especially useful if you’re travelling with a large family. However, many of these hotels also offer half-board options (breakfast and lunch or dinner) if you want a little more flexibility when it comes to eating off-site.

How do I choose the best all-inclusive resort in Tenerife?

The best way to find a great hotel is to do your research. Whether you look at all the options listed in our expert guide on this page (all visited and reviewed) or take a recommendation from a trusted friend, Tenerife is a popular destination (especially for families) so there will be plenty of people who will be able to recommend it to you.
