Boy who killed teenager in brutal murder raped 9-year-old about knife and drugs

It has been revealed that one of Britain’s youngest murderers raped her in front of her nine-year-old grandmother, using a knife and drugs.

The boy, one of two 12-year-old boys convicted Monday of brutally murdering teenager Shawn Seesahai with a machete, was such a threat to his area that a neighbor had barricaded his home with barbed wire and metal bars.

He and his friend are believed to be the youngest defendants convicted of murder in Britain since Robert Thompson and Jon Venables, both 11, were found guilty of murdering two-year-old James Bulger in 1993. They are also thought to be Britain’s youngest-ever knife killers.

Even after his arrest, the boy drew pictures of knives while in custody, which prosecutors said showed his interest in deadly weapons.

But his obsession with crime and violence appeared to have developed years earlier.

In an Instagram video revealed by The Telegraph, the teenager can be heard rapping to the song Loading by Central Cee, which mentions the words “poker”, UK slang for a knife, and “chips”, a reference to drug dealers.

In the footage, the child is seen wearing a bandana over his head and mouth and making a gun sign with his hand.

As he says the violent words, his grandmother, with whom he lives, watches him.

He continued to be influenced by jailed drill musician SJ, who later rapped about “swinging the knife” and “ripping out the guts”.

Wolverhampton residents living near where two 12-year-old boys carried out the brutal machete attack said on Tuesday that the boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was causing a nuisance in the local area.

They painted a picture of a “disgusting artifact” which they accused of damaging streetlights, jamming scooters and sending fireworks into letterboxes.

They said he regularly skipped school, riding his mountain bike in local playgrounds and prowling outside shops and streets at night as part of a gang of similar-aged youths.

One of them told The Telegraph: “He was coming back at four in the morning. I thought, why does a 12-year-old kid come back at four in the morning?

“You could see he was carrying the knife. I told the police that he was carrying a knife, and I told social services that he was carrying a knife.

“He was out every night of the week. He was in gangs. Gang members would be waiting for him on that street.

“I don’t want him to come into my house when I’m out. I tied them all up with barbed wire. I scanned the window.

“His friend was always there. They were together every night, jamming out. Dirt, that was it.”

Disgusting work.

Another neighbor added: “I can’t believe the power used came from someone so small. “It was a completely disgusting job.”

Mr Seesahai, 19, who had only been in the country for six months and is originally from the British Overseas Territory of Anguilla in the Caribbean, was attacked while discussing Christmas plans with a friend in a park in Wolverhampton last November.

The fatal wound on his back was more than 8 inches deep, and the machete blade, approximately 17 inches long, pierced his heart and nearly exited his chest.

Tributes poured in for the victim, including to his former school, Albena Lake Hodge Comprehensive School, in Anguilla.

Victim ‘was a sweet person’

A staff member at the school told The Telegraph: “I knew from the beginning that she was a sweet person.

“He occasionally got into trouble with other kids, such as wandering the halls, but it wasn’t a cause for concern.”

Shortly before the fatal encounter, the attackers, who “frequently” carried machetes, were sharing machetes with each other at the Stowlawn playing fields at East Park in Wolverhampton.

The victim’s friend told the hearing he had to run for his life but Mr Seesahai stumbled as he tried to escape from the children.

The children, who refused to answer the police’s questions after the murder, gave statements to the jury and accused each other of inflicting the fatal blow.

In addition to failing to call for help for Mr Seesahai, the youths showed no remorse for their actions in the 24 hours before their arrest; One of them cleaned the machete with bleach and hid it under his bed.

They told the court they were both playing video games in the hours after the murder and claimed they did not know Mr Seesahai was dead until the next day.

Jurors heard one of the defendants wore a mask and posed for a photo with the murder weapon hours before the murder. It was determined that there were blood stains in 11 areas on his clothing.

While the child was seen to have blood on his hands after the murder, his friend had a small blood stain on his right sneaker.

The young man, who had a black-bladed machete, was charged because of his heavily blood-stained clothes and his bag. He said he bought the machete for £40 from a “friend of a friend”, whom he refused to name, but police said there was evidence he had searched for the knife online.

His hoodie, which police found turned inside out and mixed with other clothes in a laundry basket, had blood stains on the front of his right arm, the front and back of his left arm, his right chest, and the lower left front.

Officers searched storage under the bed and found a machete. A tracksuit with blood stains was also seized from the laundry basket at a student’s home.

‘Children are dangerous now’

In an interview after the verdicts, Seesahai’s parents, Suresh and Maneshwary, said they would never forget the loss of their son, who told them he would always “shine” and take care of them.

Mr Seesahai said: “This world is a different world, children are dangerous now. “If we don’t pay attention to these, it will continue like this.”

Ms Seesahai added: “Twelve-year-olds should do their school work at home and then go to bed. “I have two children and they had to go to bed at 7.30pm because they had to follow the rules of the house.

“Before that, they do their schoolwork and get some rest.”

Last month, police chiefs said illegal dealers were selling guns to under-18s through social media channels run by TikTok, Snapchat and Meta.

Some young people, mostly involved in the drug trade, want to buy weapons of great status, such as zombie knives or machetes.
