Tuesday morning’s Chanel show featured a moody beach, where creative director Virginie Viard based her show around scenes of Deauville at sunset.

But Riley Keough has another sunset on her mind: her new movie “Sunset Sasquatch,” in which she will play one of the legendary creatures.

She said the experience was transformative, not only in terms of the fully feathered costumes, but also in the way it taught her to approach movement. The cast and crew, including Jesse Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin, went to “Sasquatch camp.” This involves eating a lot with your hands, Keough said.

“We actually had a lot of freedom in how we developed the Sasquatch movement, because we’re not imitating the real thing,” he said. “It was hilarious and super fun. The other day I found a video on my phone of us learning to eat like a Sasquatch for 25 minutes at rehearsal. “This is completely crazy.”

What lessons do you learn from being a furry monster? “It really was an incredibly rewarding experience because you never get to do something like that unless you’re a true creature artist. So it was really fun and incredibly difficult. “In a way, I respect creature work so much that now I know how difficult it is to perform with suits and prosthetics.”

The film will be released in mid-April, and Keough will likely opt for human clothing on the red carpet.

“The Joker: Part Deux” actress Zazie Beetz is among the big projects. The sequel, starring Joaquin Phoenix, will be released in the fall.

After the first audition, she didn’t get the part, so she asked for notes and then auditioned multiple times. “I felt so strongly that I said, ‘I love this movie.’ The first “no” was a blow, but he wouldn’t take that word for an answer. “I thought I could do this, I wanted to fight for it, and if I’m ready to fight, I’ll fight for it.”

She took on the role opposite Joaquin Phoenix, which will be released this fall. Following the Chanel show, Beetz is set to spend three months in South Africa to shoot Gore Verbinski’s new movie, “Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die,” with Sam Rockwell. “It would make a great tattoo,” he joked in the caption.

The actor said it was love when he first read it about a year ago. “Almost instantly—like a total ‘hell yeah,'” she said.

Beetz has an unusual preparation for the South Africa set. “Now Tyla is so popular I’m getting in the yes mood.”

Australian actress Charlee Fraser continues to enjoy big bucks from her romantic comedy “Anyone but You,” opposite Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell.

“I turn on my phone and every time I encounter another milestone. I’m like men, it happens,” he said of the film, which surpassed the $200 million global box office mark last week. It’s a unique position in time when the conventional wisdom was that movie theaters were dead.

“[Rom-coms] I haven’t been around in a while and I really think this is something we all need right now. “A little love, a little fun,” he said. And some beach – though she joked during the show that Australian beaches were “very basic and very cheap”, unlike the Chanel version shown on the big screen.

Next, Fraser will shift into “Mad Max” mode with a starring role in the upcoming “Furiosa.” He grew up with unusual skills that he had to put into practice on set.

“I grew up riding road bikes. This was one of the first things my father taught me; dirt bikes. This was very lucky. I’m so thankful I got to ‘Mad Max’ knowing this anyway, because so much of the set is filled with these incredibly organized bikes. [‘Mad Max’] World.”

Filming in the post-apocalyptic world was very physical, and she underwent horseback riding, firearms and martial arts training for the role.

She’s in love with her yet-to-be-named character and hasn’t revealed anything more. “I feel deeply connected to him and care about him very much.”

The last “Mad Max” movie premiered at Cannes, and this one has a shot, too. That’s what Fraser hopes for. “In my mind I was telling myself yes it was happening. “I’m preparing as if I’m going to be there,” he said.

It has been announced that “Raised by Wolves” star Amanda Collin will star in the second season of “House of the Dragon.”

The floral trouser suit was partly practical; He had deep pockets, even a special thumb holder that he was keen to show off, and was part Elton John. Sparkle and a slight bell bottom, she had a bright and fun vibe that was the exact opposite of the characters she usually played.

As for “Dragon,” he only confirmed that he “took a little trip to London” during filming and that he is not playing the titular dragon.

He is working on another heist movie in which he plays a supporting role. “It’s always men who do cool things like driving and shooting. I hope someone writes a women’s robbery story soon,” Collin said.

It was a big morning for singer Olivia Dean. Her debut as a headliner at the upcoming jazz festival Love Supreme Festival was revealed just minutes before she arrived at the Chanel show. He will be on the bill alongside Dionne Warwick and Chaka Khan.

“It’s incredible. “I showed my mom the poster before it was announced and she cried too,” said Dean, who performed with the legends.

Proving that the world is sometimes very small, Dean said that he had previously met Khan at the skating rink “Flippers Roller Boogie Palace” in Los Angeles, owned by Usher. He described the encounter as “crazy.”

Dean hopes to be just as wild (at least fashion-wise) on stage at the festival.

“I want something crazy. I feel like if people are coming to see the show, I want to put on a show for them. That’s why I like to wear something a little flashy and flashy, but still comfortable.”

Comfort was key to the Chanel look, which included a swimsuit from the spring collection paired with a full skirt and flats. She was also carrying a mini bag so small that nothing but a single lipstick could fit in it.

“It’s all you need,” she said of the smoky brown hue.

British actress Jasmine Jobson, who has appeared in many TV programs in the UK, is about to make a big break with the movie “Bird”, directed by Oscar winner Andrea Arnold. She stars in the series alongside Barry Keoghan. Details were under wraps, but she was full of praise for her co-star Keoghan. “He’s doing very well for himself,” she said after the “Saltburn” breakout.

The film is expected to be at Cannes, but all Jobson can say is: “It’s going to be epic.”

Jobson predicts the same for his career after “Bird” and the upcoming Hamlet modernization. “I want my face everywhere and then there’s no way you don’t know who Jasmine Jobson is. “I’ll handle the job,” Jobson joked. “I’m going to take over the world.

“I always try to remind myself that I’m still a West London Jazz,” he added. “Did little Jasmine ever think that I would change perceptions and participate in big fashion shows? No, I didn’t, it was just a dream that I never thought would come true. But here I am, in this dream that I’ve had since I was little, and now it’s my reality and I love it.”

The actor wants young dreamers to know that they should never give up. “Don’t do nonsense, don’t just think, just do,” she said. “You’re going to tear it apart.” Her positivity radiated from the front row in the sunset glow.
