Coronation Street spoilers reveal Jesse’s shock announcement, Carla gutted, Swain concealing truth and life saved

The Platts will face more stress and turmoil in Coronation Street next week following Gail Platt’s unexpected trip to hospital. But as the family gathers around his hospital bed, tensions rise as David feels responsible.

Jesse Chadwick lashes out at David when he questions him about his guilt. Are Jesse’s suspicions about David confirmed? Meanwhile, David panics when Shona reveals that Jesse has returned to Number 8 alone.

Damon Hay also calls Sarah and explains that although it gave her a beating, she blamed the theft of the money on one of Harvey’s co-workers and exonerated them.

Later, Leanne Battersby tells Nick that she cannot agree to be front of house following the Institute’s disagreement and suggests he hire someone. Nick offers Toyah the bistro manager job, telling Toyah they make a great team and it will get Leanne used to seeing them together.

Also on the pavements, while working on the case of a vandalized car, DS Lisa Swain noticed that the car had been damaged on the same road Joel Deering was attacked the same night and the owner recalled hearing two men arguing outside his flat. Dee Dee tells Bailey that the car was hit by a red car, and when Lisa realizes Ronnie’s red car is in for repairs, she tackles her at The Rovers.

Later at the apartment, Carla praises Lisa for juggling work and motherhood, but when Carla offers her a comforting hand, Lisa is startled and quickly walks out, eviscerating Carla.
