Jennifer Lawrence, 2014
Wearing a white dress with black straps by Dior, Lawrence saw her look become an online meme compared to a scene in “The Little Mermaid” and was recreated in white sheets by different influencers on social media. That year, the actress won the Best Supporting Actress award for her performance in David O. Russell’s “American Hustle.” Now, she has been nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy for the movie “No Hard Feelings.”
Kate Hudson, 2015
Kate Hudson, one of the 2015 Golden Globes presenters, turned heads as she walked the event’s red carpet in a white Versace gown that featured cutouts on the bodice that transformed into a backless silhouette.
Jane Fonda, 2016
Jane Fonda appeared in a dramatic silhouette at the 2016 Golden Globe Awards. The Hollywood icon, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for the movie “Youth”, wore a ruffled white dress by Yves Saint Laurent.
