When it comes to cheat meals, moderation is everything

“So I followed Do The Unthinkable’s six-day plan, which earned me a day off. Now on that one day off, I had a cheat meal; I didn’t go crazy and drink 10 bottles of wine and binge eat them all. One day of food, chocolate, and things I didn’t have.” passed with all the naughtiness, I just did one trick and that’s it,” she advised her followers. “So if you have a day off, don’t undo all your hard work. Just have one cheat meal and enjoy it. Don’t have an extreme day.”

Exercise for 30 minutes every day

The 39-year-old actor emphasized the importance of sticking to a daily exercise regime, even on days when motivation is low. “Make time for this workout, and I need to take my own damn advice,” he admitted to his audience.

“The hardest part of a workout is thinking about doing it. Most of the time when I’m just starting out, I don’t have time to think about it and talk myself out of it. Also, when I finish a workout I feel so proud of myself while exercising. I love that strong feeling you get when you’re fit and healthy again. “So spare half an hour a day, you won’t regret it,” he advised.

intermittent fasting

For those looking to lose some weight, Josie’s insights on intermittent fasting may be key. He attributes his significant weight loss to eating within an eight-hour window, which not only helps reduce calorie intake but also potentially minimizes bloating by providing a longer gap between the last meal of the day and bedtime.

“How you eat your meals is very important. I eat my meals over an eight-hour period. So I would wake up in the morning, have breakfast around 8 or 9 a.m., then have my lunch at noon. I would have my tea at 1 p.m., so everything is over an eight-hour period.” It digested over time, which gives me 16 hours to properly metabolize and digest my food,” Josie explained.

Be realistic about your goals

While discussing her approach to significant weight loss, Josie Gibson shared her strategy for staying relentlessly motivated. “I started at 16 pounds and broke it into 6-pound pieces, so every time I lost 6 pounds I got a reward,” she said.

“I’ve got two pairs of sneakers, I’m going to a spa day with my friends, and it makes you look forward to losing 6lbs. You can do it every 7lbs, but you get more treats at 6lbs,” she giggled. “So break it down into small chunks and really reward yourself — believe it or not, losing weight can actually be pretty fun.”

Josie also emphasized the importance of self-compassion, especially for new mothers dealing with postpartum body changes. “My number one tip would be to not put any stress on yourself,” she advised.

“I’ve had a lot of questions from new mummies and I know birth comes with a lot of weight gain, but don’t put pressure on yourself. You’ve brought a new life into the world, your body needs to heal. You’re probably sleep deprived, once you’ve healed you’ll feel sleepy. Do it when you’re healed and ready. Reggie is three months old.” “I waited until he was ready and gave him the bottle.”
