What makes the OKP K2 Robot Vacuum Cleaner so great?
After reading some of the recent hype about the Okp Life K2 Robot Vacuum Cleaner (more on that later), I decided to give it a try. It comes with everything you need, including AAA batteries and an extra air filter, and it charges quickly (though the brand recommends four to five hours of charging to get a full cleaning cycle).
You can schedule scans remotely
Setup and startup couldn’t be easier. Just tap the Start button (or press and hold for three seconds to enter Wi-Fi pairing mode) for a simple setup. The Okp also works with voice activation via Alexa or Google Assistant (which I use) and can be controlled via smartphone apps for iOS or Android. The app allows for scheduled scans, which has proven extremely useful when I arrive home late and are expecting guests. I’m using the iPhone version of the app and it was user-friendly; Synchronization is a breeze and planning saves lives.
Quiet but powerful
Having a vacuum cleaner that can clean the bottom of my feet while I’m working from home or sleeping on my couch is a non-negotiable for me. The Okp K2 proved to be quiet enough to get the job done without waking me up from my sleep or alerting my boss during video chats that Rosie the Robot is cleaning up around me.
Even though it’s very quiet, it has 1800Pa of power and a HEPA filter to effectively collect human and pet hair, dirt, and debris (bonus: improved air quality). It’s also incredibly versatile, designed for hardwood floors and rugs, and features four different settings for added customization. The ability to detail edges or dot embroidery is especially useful when I’m in a hurry or in an area that requires extra attention.
Slim and elegant (ideal for small spaces)
Unlike some other bulky robot vacuums I’ve tried, the Okp K2 Robot Vac is also incredibly stylish. It has a minimalist design and a shallow body that measures less than 3 inches in height (competitors usually reach around 4 inches).
This slim profile has proven essential for cleaning under sofas, consoles and dressers, or other hard-to-reach areas, giving those areas a much more thorough clean. You no longer have to bend down to get under furniture that your robot vacuum cleaner may have missed.
Thanks to the anti-fall detection technology, you don’t have to worry about the K2 hitting furniture or falling down the stairs and breaking, at least in my experience.
Very strong
I get the promised 100 minutes per charge (give or take) before K2 returns to its dock for charging. I can usually go through two to three vacuuming cycles before emptying the generous but fine dust collection bin. Judging by how full the bin was and how pristine my floors looked when finished, I’d say the K2 vacuum was pretty effective at doing its job.
